Design 15 - Indian x Bohemian

Decor Ideas & Inspiration

This design is a part of the Bohemian Autumn Series. The accent colours used in this design reflect the colours of Autumn - yellow, orange, red and green. Indian and Bohemian styles are complementary to each other. Both styles focus on overlapping patterns, geometric shapes combined with nature-inspired designs like flowers and leaves. Furniture made of bamboo, cane and rattan is quite popular in both styles. Certain parts in India like Assam and West Bengal are famous for the production of bamboo and cane furniture and accessories. Tapestry is another common feature in both these styles. Last but not least, both these styles do not shy away from the use of bold and bright colours.
